Summary of the project:

To provide vocational training for 200 male and female participants affected by landmines victims of conflicts living with disabilities, and their immediate family members will receive job training to restore self-confidence, find access to respectable income and employment opportunities, and raise awareness for the rights of Persons with Disabilities PWD in the community with the full participation of their parents, and authority. To enable the children with disabilities (boys and girls) to have freedom of access to education, and understand their rights as functioning citizens of Afghanistan as no one living behind.

Main objectives:

  • To create economic opportunities for 200 both male and female through vocational training as such General Electrician; Tailoring training; and Mobile Phone Repairing training.
  • To provide Corona virus related awareness opportunities to the trainees in order to manage/safe their life.
  • To enable the children with disabilities (boys and girls) to have a freedom of access to education, understand their rights as functioning citizens of Afghanistan as no one living behind.
  • To improve physical Accessibility in 4 public school buildings and 4 Clinics through Ramps construction, accessible drinking water sanitations, accessible Washrooms (Toilets).

 

Main outputs: 

  • Each beneficiary will be empowered with income generation and will be the breadwinner of his/her family.
  • Persons with Disability will find sustainable jobs and they will get jobs in the labor markets.
  • Encourage and Equip Persons with Disabilities (PWD) to become Literate Leaders;
